Volleyball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Bedford and Weston have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Weston, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bedford is set to take on their familiar foe Westford Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weston will square off against rival Acton-Boxborough at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
