Pe Ell/Willapa Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Rainier 11-4. The win continues a trend for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley in their matchups with Rainier: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, River View's hitters rose to the challenge against a Wolves pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.86 runs allowed on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on Coupeville with a sharp 18-2 victory.

Kaydence Mathews was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Mathews was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
