Volleyball Recap: Grayville Takes a Loss

Grayville lost against Carmi-White County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Emily Renshaw paced Grayville's offense, picking up three kills. Renshaw got some help from Briley Campbell and her five assists. Campbell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Grayville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Carmi-White County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Grayville has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Frankfort on the 13th. As for Carmi-White County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Harrisburg on the 13th.
