Basketball Game Preview: Vista del Lago Ravens vs. Arrowhead Christian Eagles

Last Thursday, Vista del Lago lost to Perris on the road by a 62-47 margin. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Quinton Jinna-Smith, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds. Ja'Marion Jackson was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Vista del Lago smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Arrowhead Christian posted their biggest win since November 21st on Thursday. They blew past Xavier Prep, posting a 63-22 victory.

Vista del Lago's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Arrowhead Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Vista del Lago came up short against Arrowhead Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2019, falling 65-52. Can Vista del Lago avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
