Volleyball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Casa Roble. If Dixon was looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Casa Roble when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.

Avery Schouten paced Dixon's offense, picking up seven kills. Schouten got some help from Macee Boykin and her eight assists. Schouten was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Casa Roble, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Dixon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Rio Linda on the 23rd. As for Casa Roble, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sutter on the 23rd.
