Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cambridge Springs). They blew past the Union City Bears 20-2 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Devils with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Cambridge Springs, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Union City, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Cambridge Springs will take on Lakeview at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Devils are facing the Sailors at the right time seeing as the Sailors are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Union City, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Iroquois at 4:00 p.m. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.8 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
