Basketball Recap: Webbers Falls Triumphs

The third road match was the charm for Webbers Falls, as they earned their first road win of the season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Liberty Tigers 33-31. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Webbers Falls' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Webbers Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-26 victory against Gans on the 14th. Liberty and Riverfield Country Day will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverfield Country Day's defense has only allowed 17 points per game this season, so Liberty's offense will have their work cut out for them.
