John Hardin turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Welch's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 0-7 when he doesn't).
