Basketball Recap: Amarillo Skates Past Lubbock-Cooper with Ease

Amarillo won the last time they faced Lubbock-Cooper and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Amarillo Sandies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates 95-58. The Sandies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Amarillo has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.
