Baseball Game Preview: Seymour Tigers vs. Lighthouse Christian Chargers

The Seymour Tigers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Lighthouse Christian Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Seymour made easy work of Crane and carried off a 15-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Bolivar on Wednesday and fell 13-11.

Braden Wright made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Paxton Bridges was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Seymour now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lighthouse Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything went Seymour's way against Lighthouse Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Seymour made off with a 14-4 win. Will Seymour repeat their success, or does Lighthouse Christian has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
