            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Monte Vista Christian, Pacific Grove was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-2  win over the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Breakers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Georgio Rosa tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   six  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.

Pacific Grove's  win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Rancho San Juan, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-7.
Pacific Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trailblazers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
