Volleyball Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Takes a Loss

Lausanne Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brighton Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Lynx were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lausanne Collegiate took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-22.

Lausanne Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Brighton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Lausanne Collegiate will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Memphis Home Education Association at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Brighton, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Tipton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
