Recap: Pana Panthers vs. Litchfield Purple Panthers
The Pana Panthers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 45-25 margin over Litchfield. The win was just what Pana needed coming off of a 65-26 defeat in their prior game.
Pana found their leader in underclassman Joey Laker, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kooper Dressen, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Pana's victory bumped their record up to 5-21. As for Litchfield, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-22.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pana will take on St. Anthony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. Anthony is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games. As for Litchfield, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Greenville at 6:00 p.m.
