Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Monroe + How To Watch

Monroe won the last time they faced Oakridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 36-16 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Oakridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rowdy Williams threw for 172 yards and two TDs on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards.

The win was the third in a row for Monroe, bringing their record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Oakridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
