Baseball Recap: Upstate Comes Up Short

Upstate lost against Greenville H on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Eagles came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 8-2. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Upstate's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Greenville H, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Upstate didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-2 defeat against Southside Christian on the 28th. As for Greenville H, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Greater Gwinnett Christian on the 28th.
