Althoff Catholic waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions by a score of 2-0. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Silver Stallions, too.

Althoff Catholic easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11.

Reece Distler paced Althoff Catholic's offense, picking up 15 kills. Distler got some help from Arista Bunn and her 24 assists.

Althoff Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Althoff Catholic will be taking part in a tournament against Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, they will face off against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
