Soccer Game Preview: Spotsylvania vs. King George

Spotsylvania is 2-8 against King George since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Foxes at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, Spotsylvania came up short against Courtland and fell 5-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, King George was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of Chancellor by a score of 1-0. King George haven't had much luck with Chancellor recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

King George's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Spotsylvania, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Spotsylvania beat King George by a goal in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
