Volleyball Recap: New Caney Takes a Loss

New Caney lost against Oak Ridge back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the War Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-9.

New Caney has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-21 record this season. As for Oak Ridge, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Caney is set to challenge their familiar foe Grand Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge will take on rival Conroe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
