Basketball Recap: Lowell Catholic Takes a Loss

Lowell Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 75-56 to the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-54 back in January.

Lowell Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Lowell Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-64 victory against Billerica Memorial on the 10th. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-53 defeat against Shawsheen Valley Tech on the 10th.
