The win got Chino Valley back to even at 9-9. As for Odyssey Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Everything went Chino Valley's way against Odyssey Institute in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 as Chino Valley made off with a 16-1 victory.
