Meanwhile, Trumann entered their contest against Brookland on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Trumann came up short against Brookland, falling 3-0.
While Trumann had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least nine points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Trumann, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
