Soccer Recap: Sheboygan South Takes a Loss

Sheboygan South managed to slip by Port Washington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Redwings lost 3-0 to the Pirates on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sheboygan South couldn't quite close it out.

Sheboygan South now has a losing record of 8-9-3. As for Port Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheboygan South will host Cedarburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedarburg's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Port Washington, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Winneconne at 6:30 p.m. Winneconne will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Port Washington surely won't give up without a fight.
