Recap: Cresset Christian Academy Eagles vs. Carolina Friends Quakers
The Cresset Christian Academy Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Carolina Friends 60-58. The victory was just what Cresset Christian Academy needed coming off of a 68-19 loss in their prior matchup.
Cresset Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mario Jarett, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jarett has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Branson Green, who scored 19 points.
Cresset Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Carolina Friends, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cresset Christian Academy will take on Cape Fear Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cape Fear Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Carolina Friends, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Woods Charter at 11:00 a.m. on January 20th.
