Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Academy lost against Marymount back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Regal Gryphons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sailors. The Regal Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Notre Dame Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 21-25, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Karys Campos, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Gabriella Bartle was another key player, getting nine digs.

Notre Dame Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Marymount, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

Notre Dame Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bishop Alemany on the 30th. As for Marymount, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Desert Hills on the 26th.
