While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Spartans are ranked 102nd).
Jamar Hicks put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 107 yards on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
