Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Jefferson

The Burbank Bulldogs will challenge the Jefferson Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Burbank didn't have quite enough to beat Lanier and fell 2-1. Burbank have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Jefferson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Owls by a score of 3-1.

Samuel Arreola and Alexander Hernandez scored all three of Jefferson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 13-7-3. As for Burbank, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13-2.
