Soccer Recap: Bonham Comes Up Short

Bonham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Celina Bobcats, falling 8-0. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bonham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Celina, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonham will host Sanger at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Celina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmersville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Celina's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Farmersville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
