Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sade Valencia and Livie Corelli Lead Murrieta Mesa to Victory + How To Watch

Murrieta Mesa had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 11th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-101) Murrieta Mesa actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 18-25, 25-23, 27-25, 15-12.

Leading Murrieta Mesa to victory were Livie Corelli and Sade Valencia. Corelli had 12 digs and one assist, while Valencia had three digs and three aces.

Murrieta Mesa's record now sits at 27-5-2. As for Murrieta Valley, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.
