Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson). They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Bainbridge Spartans on Saturday. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Ashton Bergman was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Quinten Johns was another key player, earning two RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Bainbridge, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 12-4 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will face off against Lake Stevens at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Timberwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bainbridge, they will challenge North Mason at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
