Basketball Recap: Thomas Nelson Takes a Loss

Thomas Nelson lost against Bethlehem back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thomas Nelson Generals had to suffer through a 72-38 loss at the hands of the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Eagles/Banshees are ranked 20th).

Thomas Nelson's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Bethlehem, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.

Coming up, Thomas Nelson will take on Marion County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethlehem, they have already played their next contest, a 70-59 defeat against Daviess County on the 15th.
