It was a good run, but Waynesburg Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southmoreland Scotties. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-62 back in January.

Waynesburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Southmoreland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mt. Carmel Christian the next time they take the court. Southmoreland will head out to face Mt. Carmel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Waynesburg Central will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
