Baseball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland lost against Glide back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Oakers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4. The Oakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oakland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Vanassche, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that Vanassche scored this season.

Oakland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Glide, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

While Oakland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
