Basketball Recap: Seffner Christian Comes Up Short

Seffner Christian lost against Calvary Christian back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seffner Christian Crusaders took a blow against the Calvary Christian Warriors, falling 81-51. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Warriors are ranked 24th).

Seffner Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Calvary Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Seffner Christian will square off against Steinbrenner at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Calvary Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carrollwood Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Calvary Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
