Basketball Recap: Estacado Piles Up the Points Against Lake View

Estacado won the last time they faced Lake View and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Estacado Matadors took their contest with ease, bagging a 54-10 victory over the Lake View Chiefs. Given the Matadors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Chiefs are ranked 1278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Estacado has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Lake View, they dropped their record down to 2-26 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home.

As of now, neither Estacado nor Lake View have any future games scheduled.
