Basketball Game Preview: Pallotti Panthers vs. St. Timothy's

Having just played yesterday, the Pallotti Panthers will head out on the road to face off against St. Timothy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Pallotti's defense has only allowed 24 points per game this season, so St. Timothy's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Pallotti is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Archbishop Spalding on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 18, 2024.

St. Timothy's kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 65-36 defeat at the hands of St. Frances Academy. St. Timothy's has struggled against St. Frances Academy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kahlan Williams was St. Timothy's leading scorer, having posted five points. Williams also led the team in rebounds with two.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pallotti fell to 3-1. As for St. Timothy's, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Pallotti came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Timothy's when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 33-31. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Timothy's turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
