Soccer Game Preview: Dinuba vs. Mission Oak

The Dinuba Emperors will square off against the Mission Oak Hawks at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Oak took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Dinuba, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Dinuba was able to grind out a solid victory over Tulare Union, taking the game 5-3. Given the Emperors' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the The Tribe are ranked 842nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mission Oak came up short against Hanford on Thursday and fell 4-2.

The win made it two in a row for Dinuba and bumps their season record up to 11-7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two contests. As for Mission Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-3.

Dinuba beat Mission Oak 5-3 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Dinuba repeat their success, or does Mission Oak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
