Basketball Recap: St. Pius X Triumphs

The third road matchup was the charm for St. Pius X, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Northside Christian Mustangs by a score of 73-65 on Monday.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaycen White, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Ahlers, who earned 19 points.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Northside Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

St. Pius X will venture away from home to take on Houston Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Northside Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Countryside at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
