After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beecher, Grant Park was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Donovan Wildcats get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Reegan Thompson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Abigail Roberts also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Grant Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Donovan only posted a batting average of .118.

Grant Park's record now sits at 4-5. As for Donovan, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grant Park beat the Wildcats by a score of 13-7 later that day.
