Basketball Recap: Turner County Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Turner County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Irwin County Indians 62-48 on Friday. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 57-56 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Irwin County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Guy, who dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 13 rebounds, and ten blocks. Those ten blocks gave Guy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Terrio Wilcox, who went 6 for 8 en route to 13 points and six boards.
