Football Recap: Northglenn Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Northglenn's offense. They took a blow against the Fort Collins Lambkins on Thursday, falling 56-0. The Norsemen haven't had much luck with the Lambkins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fort Collins had a senior duo take command as Justin Cranford threw for 154 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes and Jack McKeon gained 178 total yards and two touchdowns. Cranford got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 58 yards.

Northglenn's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northglenn will welcome Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Fort Collins, they will look to defend their home field on September 5 against Eaglecrest at 6:30 p.m.
