La Joya Community is a perfect 3-0 against Washington since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Fighting Lobos will challenge the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times La Joya Community and Sierra Linda had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Fighting Lobos came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The game was the first time the Fighting Lobos have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since September 2, 2021.

Washington not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Glendale.

While Washington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 28-26.

La Joya Community's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.

La Joya Community took their victory against Washington when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Lobos since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
