Soccer Recap: Galileo Takes a Loss

Galileo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Randolph-Henry Statesmen, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Galileo were already down 3-0.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Randolph-Henry, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Coming up, Galileo is taking a road trip to square off against Appomattox County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Galileo will need to watch out since Appomattox County have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Randolph-Henry, they will welcome Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Randolph-Henry's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Cumberland have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
