 Valliant can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Roff Tigers  a   10-0 shutout. The  win was just what Valliant needed coming off of  a  9-0 loss in their prior  game.
  Clancy Trapp made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Trapp was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Hayzn Harmon and  Mason Keeling did most of the damage at the plate:  Harmon  scored a  run while going 1-for-3, while  Keeling  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Brody Dorries, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Valliant's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Roff, their  defeat was their first of the  season and makes their record 4-1.
 Valliant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-2  win vs. Tupelo on the 30th. As for Roff, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Tushka at 4:30  p.m.
