Saugatuck had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Fennville Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Give Saugatuck's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Neave Rewa and Ava Tringali scored both of Saugatuck's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Saugatuck pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Fennville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saugatuck will head out to face off against Watervliet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Watervliet's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Fennville, they will challenge Coloma at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fennville are facing Coloma at the right time seeing as Coloma are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
