Basketball Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

Lake City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tahoma Bears.

Tahoma was led to victory by Adalynn S Busch and Logan Girias. S Busch dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 boards, while Girias posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Lake City's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tahoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake City will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coeur d'Alene at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Tahoma, they will face off against Kamiakin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tahoma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
