Volleyball Recap: Horizon Takes Down Ranked South Salem

Horizon is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of South Salem. The Huskies came out on top against the Saxons by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Nia Tinsley paced Horizon's offense, picking up 12 kills. Tinsley got some help from Brooklynn McNulty and her 22 assists. Sienna Markovich controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Horizon's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for South Salem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.

Horizon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bishop Gorman on the 26th. As for South Salem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 26th.
