Recap: Calvary Christian Academy vs. Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots

Calvary Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 48-12 win over Chestertown Christian Academy on the road. The win was just what Calvary Christian Academy needed coming off of a 50-28 loss in their prior game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Audrey Hensley (HS), who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hensley (HS) scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Sadie Fournier, who scored 13 points along with four steals.

Calvary Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Calvary Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sts. Peter & Paul at 3:30 p.m. on January 12th. Sts. Peter & Paul's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Calvary Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Faith Baptist School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Faith Baptist School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
