Flag Football Recap: Monroe Area's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Monroe Area lost to Walnut Grove back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Purple Hurricanes enjoyed a cozy 21-6 victory over the Warriors. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Purple Hurricanes as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Monroe Area now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Walnut Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Monroe Area has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Gainesville on the 6th. As for Walnut Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 30-0 victory against Morgan County on the 4th.
