Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moorhead). They claimed a resounding 86-19 victory over the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm. Given the Spuds' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Storm are ranked 359th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Moorhead, bringing their record for this year to 7-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.
