Grandview won the last time they faced Rice and things went their way on Thursday too. The Zebras walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Zebras.

Grandview got a great performance from Elijah Dominguez as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Drew Milner, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Easton Ebner was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Grandview's record now sits at 11-14-1. As for Rice, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Grandview will head out to square off against Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rice, they will be playing at home against Blooming Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
